Motivate Me!

-50 by age 50

I have a goal and 10 months plus a few weeks to gitterdun! I have joined a Gym, obtained a trainer, started Isagenix, and am working with Dr. Braden of Valley Spine and Sport to get my body in alignment, fix my pump bump on my achilles tendon and get rid of my knee pain. I can just see me now doing all the fun stuff I want to do when I am at my goal weight. Skydiving, River Rafting, Run a short Race (if my doc says ok), Shopping, Hiking, LIVING. I am writing this now while I am feeling like I CAN DO IT, so I can read it on the days I doubt myself, I have a feeling these days will come. You have made a choice to change your life style, don't expect FAST results, it is not all about the # but how much better you are starting to feel. After you accomplish this you will have the desire to accomplish even more. Don't listen to that old voice in your head telling you you can't, YOU CAN and YOU WILL. Remember you are doing this for YOU and not for anyone else. Take the time for yourself, BE SELFISH. It is your time now. Keep the FIRE even if other people in your life start to go in another direction, If it is not good for you or something that makes you happy and fulfilled you don't have to do it. I believe in you!

One Good Day After Another

We have had many prayers answered this week while finishing our daughters wedding plans, which are many, and packing up our house to move at the same time, this is a test, only a test....and we seem to be passing so far! Today was just another good day in the week as family and friends attended the temple with Kristin as she took out her endowments. Life can chage in an instant!

INDIAN BURIAL GROUND!

I often make jokes that our house is built on an indian burial ground, and is cursed! And after this last week of having to dig up our back yard around our septic tank to prove to the Health Department that the tank was not installed backwards! I am beginning to believe my own joke! It has only been working for 16 years with NO PROBLEM.... so we uncover it,and guess what? It was NOT installed backwards (told you so!) but.... there is always a but..... it was actual built wrong! (okay, WHAT?) yeah that's what we said! thankfully it was a simple fix of moving the inlet and outlet pipes, so now it passes with flying colors, and has been put back in the ground with the dead indians!

ANOTHER LIFE SAVED

Kristin ran interference for this little guy, he is one of the smallest we have seen, still alive that is, he is almost the same size as her set of car keys sitting next to him. Can I hear you say awwwww

IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN!

My cats just love this time of year! The baby bunnies come out of the desert into our yard to eat grass and .......well they think these cool little fuzzy bouncy things are great to chase and pounce on. We save them often, the poor things, One of us will hear a little guy screaming and we will go running to break up the mayhem, here is a cute little baby cottontail that Tom saved from Yoda tonight. So tiny huh? We think they are cute!

FEEDING TIME

You never have to guess, when he is hungry, he will let you know! He is still not flying but is flapping his wings and pulling the shafts off the base of his feathers, We take him out of his cage and he likes to hop around the yard. We call him "Buddy".

This is our cats impression of a "vampire bat", He is pretty good huh!

OUR NEW PET

So have you heard the one about the ugly Duckling that turns into a beautiful Swan? well... he is not a Swan exactly he is a Raven. But he will be more beautiful I promise!
In the video you can see he is already so much bigger then he was last week, and his black feathers are coming in now. It is amazing how fast they grow.

I Drank The Kool-Aid !

O.K. I admit it, I have gone a little nuts selling stuff on Ebay! I have been cleaning out closets, and craft rooms, and garages and taking the stuff to D.I. and then one day I thought... I should at least log in to Ebay and see if anybody would want any of my "old junk", I mean "hidden treasures" and voila, They actually do! Beginners Luck Probably. But it has turned into a little bit of an obsession! With the economy the way it is, every little bit helps huh? Try it you might like it! Just get ready to drink the Kool-Aid...... HEY KOOL-AID!
